I recently came across this beautiful swimming centre, and I’ve now dedicated myself to go this place for at least a day per week!
It is in Taichung and I haven’t actually seen it advertised on the internet yet. However, as the forgetful person I am — I’ve actually forgotten the name of this swimming centre.
It features jacuzzi’s, hot tubs, swimming pools, sauna’s and basically the whole lot. It includes facilities for children, older people and generally works for everyone. They even have a tub which is full of ice water which, perhaps, could be perceived as relaxing — although I’d rather not catch a cold, so I prefer to use the hot tubs.
I’m going again tomorrow, so I’ll take some pictures and take note of the actual name of the facility itself — along with the address. It takes around 20 minutes on foot, from Taichung station and around 10 minutes by bus to get to this place. I would say it is above average in terms of the swimming facilities you can find in Taichung.
Cost
It costs around $200NT per person for one visit. However, I paid $500NT for 5 visits using my student ID card, so ensure you bring that along with you; if you have that. If not, it will cost $200NT –, however there are other pricing options which I’ll ensure to get down when I travel there tomorrow! 🙂

I’ve made the move out of Feng-Chia back to my parents place. I had to move quite a few things, however the room I was in looks much better than what it originally looked like before I had actually moved in. For one, it is clean and two, I fixed a few things here and there like the internet (The RJ45 wall-port). – So whoever moves in next, well, they won’t have trouble with their internet, unless they pull the actual wall-port; off the wall.
Aside from that useless crap, things have been boring as of recent, I haven’t really hanged out with my friends and my sister has gone back to London. So I’ve really spent time doing nothing. I’ve tried to focus on Mandarin however it is hard not having a dedicated person trying to explain things in an easy way to you.
As for my military service, I’m not even sure about that, if there is no conclusion to that and it is just an ongoing thing that drags on, perhaps I’ll find a job teaching English. I’d like to save up some money, perhaps start investing and see how that turns out.
Life is moderately boring at the moment, I hope I don’t waste what little of a life as living beings, we have on this dear old Earth. *Yawns*
Just to make this blog post, not totally boring, here’s a pic with my sister and friends:

Not a bad picture, right?

I haven’t posted in a while on this dear blog of mine, considering recently I have been chilling out with my sister and whatnot and I haven’t had much time to go on the internet. – Besides Facebook, where I’ve just uploaded pictures etc.
Whatever the case, this post is for my sister, I’m going to miss her so much.
When I left for Taiwan, my sister cried, although she had friends with her, which made it more comfortable to leave her without bursting out in tears, I felt a bad feeling inside me. I felt I was leaving someone behind who I’d never see again, it felt as if I was never going to see that person again; type of feeling.
I’ve come to the conclusion that in this world, it is money that keeps people apart, it isn’t distance nor is it time, it is purely money. If I had the money, I could fly back with her, stay in England for a while, jet off to South Korea to see my girlfriend and do so many wonderful things.
Leaving that aside, here are some pics with my sister:
I need to get more pics with her. 🙁
