Domain renewals are expensive!

Posted by on Jun 25, 2012 in Technology, Videos

I just renewed 5 of my domain names and that cost me over $50! I guess in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t cost much, since you only have to pay for the domain names per year, meaning most of my domains are mine until I have to renew them next year in 2013. I remember a time when domain renewals were only 7.99 and sometimes much, much lower. Now, it costs an extra $2 for renewal. I guess, as domains become more and more bought there will be no “good” domain names for purchase; unless of course it’s a unique name. (In which case, well, there isn’t much of an argument for that; though most of the good names are taken; frankly speaking) Oh, and here is some awesome soothing piano music by Nuvole Bianche:...

Music of the day – Korean music

Posted by on Jan 24, 2012 in Videos

I haven’t updated the video section of my website in a long time with any new music. I came across this South Korean band called Big Bang. I looked at a few of their songs, I could only one I liked and it is called “Love Song”. It is really catchy. Love Song – by Big Bang Although I have no idea what they are saying, except for “I hate this love song” (I think that’s what they are saying), the beat, tune or whatever you want to call it; is pretty catchy. Plus it is Korean, I have generated a new thinking towards Korean’s considering my girlfriend is Korean. (From the South of course) 😀 The only issue I have with South Korean music is that when they perform, they try to solely focus on the dancing. But...

Queen – Don’t stop me know, Find me somebody to love and Bohemian Rhapsody

Posted by on Oct 23, 2011 in Videos

Legends Possibly two of my most favourite songs. I remember singing their songs in the car when my Dad used to take me out. I didn’t really care about my voice back then and just sung as loud as I possibly could. 😀 Or on the way to school I used to sing this. Good...

I want to learn the piano

Posted by on Jun 3, 2011 in Videos

When I was a kid I was quite stubborn. I thought I was going to be some sort of athlete until I broke my leg in 2005 or was it 2006? The thing is I didn’t want to learn at school, I just wanted to practice running and keeping my stamina up especially when playing games like “it” on the playground. The only real subject I liked at school was history, I liked World War 2 and used to watch the history channel all the time. At the moment right now I’m still very interested in history. Although I’ve passed by World War 2 and probably won’t watch a program on the history channel if I can help it. (As I’ve probably seen all of them) – I actually like Chinese history with the Dynasties, emperors, kings and warlords. Enough about history. So I was...

Music which relaxes me when angry

Posted by on May 24, 2011 in Opinion, Videos

I often find that it is music which can cheer you up or just forget about everything that is going on. I guess gaming does this as well. I game quite a lot and gaming helps. It makes you forget, it makes you think about other things going on which really mean nothing in the world. But for those few hours, you feel different, you feel you aren’t in trouble anymore. There is no one on the planet but yourself that matters and you use that self-importance to help others which you’d like to do in real life. Anyone reading this probably won’t understand, but that’s fine, because I understand. I loved this version of “I’m coming home”, but this was sung differently to what I’ve heard and is an nice acoustic piece. It kind of relates in someways...

Music of the week (My Top 5)

Posted by on Aug 30, 2010 in Videos

These videos are my top five for this week of music videos that I’ve come across on YouTube. I’m thinking of doing something like this on a weekly basis and creating a category in the random category section. (A subsection category) I think it might work out pretty well. So which one is your favourite. I personally liked the Americano one and thus why I listed it number one for my music of the week (MOTD) top five. 1. httpv:// I don’t understand whatever is being said, but the tune and beat is amazing! It just makes you want to bob your head up and down! Bup’ bup’ Americano! 2. httpv:// They play this where I work and it is a nice tune from Iyaz! 3. httpv:// I like the meaning about this music, plus it isn’t bad music as...
