I’m obsessed with North Korea

Posted by on Apr 12, 2013 in Opinion

Well, actually, I’ve always been obsessed with North Korea and my girlfriend would attest to this, as when she was in Taiwan last year I would talk to her about North Korea. I also have a South Korean friend from Busan who I often used to chat with about this particular topic. I also went to the Korean War Memorial in South Korea as I’m highly interested in the history aspect as well as current events taking...

Another design update

Posted by on Apr 1, 2013 in Updates

I’ve changed the design, yet again, as I wasn’t happy with the previous design. The real reason I changed designs was due to the bad SEO that the other design had and it seemed that it was over-bloated more than anything without giving any real reward in terms of search engine optimization. It’s definitely a nice design and everything, but the SEO aspect fails in that regard. The new design on the other hand has many more options to feature articles that...

My stamina seems to fluctuate

Posted by on Mar 27, 2013 in Health

I’ve just taken a shower, after having exercised in the park for around 40 minutes, and I feel as though my stamina fluctuates. Some days I can run for longer periods and some days I’m absolutely flustered. In all of my runs I try to push myself and I can usually keep going for a longer period of time, so perhaps I’m pushing myself too hard when exercising? Whatever the case, I’m on track to losing weight and hopefully...

86kg to 84kg! Weight lost!

Posted by on Mar 18, 2013 in Health

I’ve lost weight! This year I weighed around 86kg after putting on weight when my sister left Taiwan. She visited for like a month and during that period I did not exercise. Before my sister arrived in Taiwan, I exercised every single day and sure enough I was doing well. But, boy, when my sister came here she really increased the amount of food I was eating. We would always be eating something and her eating habits slowly drifted onto...

I’m healthy, woo hoo!

Posted by on Mar 18, 2013 in Opinion

Okay. Today, I went in for a blood test and examination (With the doc asking me questions etc) and he checked my blood cells (white / red) and he told me that my immune system looked pretty strong, saying that I had plenty of white blood cells and that I shouldn’t worried. So why did I have this random health check. A couple of months ago I became extremely aware of the amount of welts, rashes, and bumps that...

New design and organisation

Posted by on Mar 16, 2013 in Updates

From yesterday to now I’ve been spending time on a new look for my blog. I think I’ve done a decent job and I like the new look and theme that is designed by a group called Elegant Themes. (I use their themes for all of my blogs as they look superb) This is 2013 now and this place needs more organisation and a better look. Which is why I’ve also introduced two new categories and they are: Travel &...

Weight loss journey from 2010 – 2013

Posted by on Feb 15, 2013 in Health

Losing weight has always been something that I’ve wanted to do, but that I’ve never done until recent. I didn’t use to be overweight (I’m not overweight now – as I write this) and at one point I could run for as long as I wanted and was one of the best long distance runners in my school year at secondary school. (See picture to the right; you can see that I wasn’t overweight at all.) That is of...

Fitness update

Posted by on Feb 1, 2013 in Health

Let’s just say that while my sister has been in Taiwan I’ve gained weight, as I’ve been going out and eating at restaurants and I simply have not had enough time to exercise. However, I’ve changed all that; now that my sister has returned to the UK I’ve started exercising again. Today, I pushed myself and I ran around the track 14 times without stopping at a fast pace; it took half an hour to do that as I was...

Life update post

Posted by on Jan 31, 2013 in Life, Updates

I am sure I’ve made similar posts to this post about my future. The uncertainties, the worries and the “What will happen… questions”. But, I’ve decided that I would like to make a return to the UK to study again or to simply go back to work! I can leave Taiwan in  March/June/July as that is the period that I can stay in the Taiwan; unless I want to do Taiwanese military service, as I am Taiwanese, as well as...

Cracked camera screen

Posted by on Jan 25, 2013 in Life

5 days ago I cracked my camera’s screen; I own a Panasonic DMC-FZ28. I screwed up bad as I’m a little low on money and can’t afford a new one, fortunately for me the camera is still operational, well, other than the screen I can still use the viewer to take pictures. I was calm at the time I broke it, but it’s quite annoying having my camera in this state. So… I’m going to buy a new LCD...

Grandmother passed away

Posted by on Dec 30, 2012 in Life

My grandmother has never been healthy, especially when it came to her internals. Every 3 days she would have to go to the hospital to get her kidney/blood washed. It was a procedure that seemed to make her tired, weak, and unhappy. She did accept these things as part of life, and how could you not? – As it was something that became her life. 2 days ago she died; initially it was from a stroke after one of...

This post is sort of an update as to why I haven’t posted on this blog in quite a while. I haven’t exactly had anything entertaining going on in my life and in-fact my health has been the concerns that I’ve been having. I contracted a virus and I’m waiting for the effects of the virus to go away, however for now I’ll have to live with fatigue and boredom. I guess after coming back from Korea, I haven’t really...
