Tough Mudder 2019

by | Oct 2, 2019 | Fitness

From getting zapped to dunking your entire body into freezing cold water, Tough Mudder this year was amazing.

This was my second time doing Tough Mudder as I had done Tough Mudder, 2014 – one of the first Tough Mudder events held in London (none of the events are exactly London – though they are advertised as such).

I thought I’d share some pictures on the blog of the event:

I love this picture below as I look to be the happiest of the bunch and I’m conveniently looking directly at the camera whilst my compadres are painstakingly making their way down the Mud Mound:

It was an enjoyable event, despite having suffered food poisoning on the same week – though some tablets I took came in handy.

Managed to get all the way through without any sort of injury, which was great as I had volunteered to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 13th for someone else who suffered from a hip injury.

I’ll hopefully be doing Tough Mudder 2020 next year. 😉

What weight is a good weight to get back to?

As part of my plan/goal for 2020, I want to lose weight and get jacked up. I've gone through quite a journey, historically speaking, and given my sort of bumpy road of losing weight, then gaining weight, and then being content, and then not being content with my...

First run of 2020 – 5.89km

I have not run properly in a good while so I found today's run quite tough actually. It was definitely not an easy run - given that Christmas and New Year's had me eat a lot of food and frankly, I've not been eating with health in mind - let's just say. So as part of...
