I haven't studied for almost a week. I haven't even touched my book and to be honest I don't want to study. However for tomorrow I have been informed that I have a test which I have to do which involves memorising a dialogue.
Instead of memorising the Chinese-Mandarin characters, which usually takes me 7 hours to memorise an entire lesson's characters which usually consist of around 25 or 37 in this case, I will purely focus on this stupid dialogue I have to do. I already memorised the previous lessons dialogue however the teacher didn't even get us to read that dialogue even though I had that perfectly memorised.
Now I have to memorise a dialogue of which I haven't even practised the characters for. But that doesn't matter, as long as I can memorise the order of which the characters occurs then it should be fine. 🙂

Today I created the 100th article on my military based website over at Armour.ws. In January of this year (2011) I promised myself or made a goal to reach 100 articles on my armored vehicle website before the end of this year. I still have roughly 2 months left before the year ends which gives me enough time to create more quality articles for the web to see! 🙂 My most recent article is on the situation unfolding in Syria at the moment. Mostly I have included my opinion on the situation over there. (Syria the next Libya?) Dependent on how the situation develops over there will sway my opinion on the next article I write. However I firmly believe the west should do the same to Syria as was done in Libya.
I doubt Russia is going to do much or China. Their voices have long be drowned out of the world stage. The west has more power I'm afraid even though it may seem to be moving towards China. Although I of course want peace in the world, I don't want to look back in history and see the killings that happened in Syria and lecture people and say "The world stood by and did nothing…"! I mean look what happened in Libya. As soon as Col. Gaddafi was overthrown who came running to the NTC? China and Russia. Yet they opposed or abstained from the UN vote to intervene. The same will happen with Syria. The question remains whether it is viable to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad with his 300,000 strong army. The base of operations would likely have to occur in Turkey, however would they agree to that?
However it seems the world is coming to the stage where mass atrocities that take place are not dealt with anymore. I seriously do not want to see another Darfur where the world stood by and did nothing as 300,000 people were slaughtered and 2 million displaced. That is not the world we should live in. I also must reiterate that if an atrocity is taking place and we can definitively do something about it which in the long term will benefit the people, action should be taken. Although I know some will say it is frivolous to compare Darfur to Syria, it is the same thing. It is the systematic killing of innocents but done on a smaller scale. But who really knows the real figures on the deaths that occured in Syria? The Syrian government banned all foreign media, so there really is not middle perspective on the ground at the moment.

Now it is time to do some press-ups. 😛

Lets just say my earnings with Adbrite are what I make in a month of that I Â make in just one day with AdSense. I had not realised that Adbrite sucks on a major scale. Perhaps it works for others, I don’t know, but I have literally in one day made more money with AdSense than I have in one month with Adbrite. Â I know I repeated myself there; it needs to be said.

I’m working on bulking up at the moment and I can do this since my cousin has a small gym inside their apartment.
 .
I do a few weight lifting techniques which seem to work well in my opinion. I have definitely seen improvements with the size of my arms and my breasts, they are a lot tighter and more stretched and look physically very awesome.
 .
Doing it for the military service…
I’m mainly trying to bulk up for the inevitable military service I have coming up soon. I’ll be honest with myself when I say I’m scared about joining the Taiwanese military. My cousins boyfriend has served in the Taiwanese military, he has said to me personally, that I might be bullied for my inability with Mandarin. However at the same time I want to experience military life even if the prospects may seem shitty. We have a saying in the West and that saying is “Man up!”, I guess this is what I am seeking the most.
 .
I hope to grow stronger from any bullying and I hope to have a more mean spirited stance on things. Meaning if I believe in something or if I don’t want to do something; I will say it directly and loudly. At the moment I will just follow and do what others tell me to do. Or I will tell a white lie to get out of doing something I don’t want to do. I don’t mean to be mean spirited in this sense, but hey, if you don’t want to do something, surely you are not always obligated to say “yes”.
 .
Back to the fitness part of this blog post, I’m doing quite a bit of weight lifting everyday. It is coming to the point where the weights I am lifting aren’t so heavy for me anymore. Seeing as my cousin’s boyfriend only has one set of weights, I can’t increase those weights significantly enough. Although those weights must be adequate since my cousin’s boyfriend has extremely large arms.

Who would have thought how exhilarating it feels to drink coffee by yourself while utilizing the Wi-Fi access free of charge you get with your overpriced cup of coffee. 😛
Just testing out the camera on my laptop. It appears that it is OK at taking pictures which look like they have been taken from a toaster. 😛
Feel like a pig today
So what did I eat today:
- Burger King’s Chicken Sandwich
- A box of fries
- A large cup of Sprite
- Carrot sticks
Now eating just that makes you a pig or makes you somewhat an unhealthy eater, if you eat that on a periodic basis. Which I have been doing recently. However the thing that really made me a pig was that immediately after I went to McDonald’s and ordered:
- A box of 6 chicken McNuggets
- A large box of fries
Then I went to a cafe and ordered an expensive cup of coffee. I felt the need to comfort myself with food today. Even though I have lost over 16kg and that weight loss is clearly visible more than ever if I compare my before and after pictures… I feel I may put on more weight quite easily. Although I am playing football every weekend and when I can, I do go for runs quite frequently.
So from this day on I pledge not to eat Burger King or McDonald’s. I have been treating these places as places of comfort. However in the end it will bite me in the butt when I step on a weighing machine and weigh myself to find out I’ve put on 10kg in 2 weeks. XD That would kind of suck.

It was recently my birthday and I didn’t really do much. I was going to go clubbing however had my I.D. at my parents place for reasons which coincide with the post below. I purely went out with friends however it wasn’t for my birthday however we kind of celebrated it as if it was for my birthday. We went to this little expensive restaurant called “Little Italy”. The food was delicious.
I have more pictures on my Picasa and Facebook, which can be found here:
It was a pretty fun day today. I wish I could have gone clubbing, but alas I didn’t have my I.D. I can blame Taichung Council since I had to hand over my I.D. since my mother is handling my military service issue with them. :/
But I don’t usually blame others, I could have kept my British passport I guess, which would have allowed me to go clubbing. Although to be honest, I wasn’t all that keen on going.
