Today I ran 6.03km, which is the longest distance I have run so far this year. It was a slog, and it wasn’t easy, but I’m getting back into it having now completed 4 runs this month.
I started off where I live in Tufnell Park, headed down through Kentish Town, then through Camden and arrived at Primrose Hill – and then turned around and ran back the way I came:
Primrose Hill is a hill of 213 feet (65 m), so running up the hill takes some good strength and will power.
I had a nice short break up the top of the hill to take in the beautiful sights of London’s skyline and took some pictures along the way:

Hitting the gym
I also hit the gym right after the run and did some light weights exercises and press-ups:
- 3 x squats (35kg)
- 3 x press-ups (x20)
- 3 x chest fly machine (55kg)
Again, as I keep posting, these aren’t the most inspiring runs/exercises I have done in my life by a fair margin, but this is just the start of my journey going into 2020 and hopefully, I’ll be able to get my fitness levels up to a fantastic level. 🙂
